Wagyu Sourced from the Best: A Look Inside A Bar N Ranch

As one of the best steakhouses in Dallas, Texas, our finished product can only be as good as the meat we source. And that’s why we only source from the best. Each of our vendors is a class leader in their trade, and our Wagyu beef is no exception. Let’s take a look inside A Bar N Ranch, the premier Wagyu beef breeder here in Texas:

American Wagyu from the Great State of Texas

Most recognize Wagyu as the best, but not all Wagyu is created equal. The Wagyu at Chamberlain’s Steak and Chop House comes from A Bar N Ranch in North Texas. A Bar N Rach raises American Wagyu, which means it’s a crossbreed of Wagyu genetics and premium Texas Black Angus. The results: tender, flavorful, and buttery meat you just can’t get enough of.

Wagyu Health Benefits

We are conditioned to believe that fat is bad, but that is not always the case, and not the case with premium Wagyu beef. The genetic makeup of Japanese Wagyu beef is different than traditional beef, creating a rich marbling of the meat and tender texture – all with healthy fats. What do we mean? Researchers have shown the fat in Wagyu is actually high in Omega 3s and Omega 6s (the same types of healthy monosaturated fats we find in olive oil and avocados) and lower in cholesterol.

The Herd is Like Family

A Bar N Ranch operates with the utmost care for its animals out on the ranch. They feel that the cattle are part of the family, so they get the best treatment. All animals are pasture raised, grain finished, and never given growth hormones. The herd is simply all-natural North Texas beef.
