Chamberlain’s Steak & Chop House specializes in the finest cuts of steak in North Texas. And what better way to enjoy the perfect steak than with the perfect wine? If you aren’t sure which wine to choose, our sommelier can always help, but here a few broad-strokes on what pairs well with various cuts of meat:

Filet Mignon

How hungry are you? Our filet mignon can be ordered in 4 different sizes, ranging from 6 oz. to 14 oz. Each is 40 day aged for perfection and it can also be ordered with the bone-in if you prefer. When ordering a filet, Pinot Noir is an excellent choice for a wine pairing. Our filet has a delicate, light flavor, and the Pinot Noir balances that well without overpowering it. You’ll also find that the pleasant aromas of oak and fruit are a perfect complement to the tender filet.

Ribeye

Our dry aged prime ribeye is mouthwatering perfection, rich in bold, meaty flavor. Ordered with either bone-in or without, it pairs well with a Cabernet Sauvignon or even a Zinfandel. Both options work to balance and cut through the fat, making them a perfect choice.

Porterhouse

Our prime porterhouse steak comes in at a sizeable 24 oz. and is a very popular choice for those who want to enjoy a bold cut of meat! When ordering a porterhouse, look for a medium-bodied wine, such as a Syrah. A fine Syrah has refined tannins that complement the steak and make it an excellent pairing.

These are just a few of our wine pairing suggestions. For more detailed explanations, come see us at Chamberlain’s Steak & Chop House in Addison, Texas – home of the best steak in Dallas. We’re open seven days a week, making any day a celebration.
