Alaskan Copper River Salmon

Get your taste buds ready, the season began May 16th.  Copper River Salmon, the world’s finest, caught early this morning will be served this evening at Chamberlain’s. Anglers and diners alike look forward to the return of these beauties each year.

More than two million salmon come to spawn in the salty Copper River Delta off the Gulf of Alaska. King Salmon, also called Chinook, and Sockeye run now. Coho will be along a little later. Salmon making the journey to the icy waters of the Copper River Delta build up their reserves. And this is what makes them so rich and irresistible.
