Since its inception in 1993, Chamberlain’s Steak & Fish has brought in accolades. It’s something our restaurant takes great pride in as we continue to carry on the tradition as best steakhouse in Dallas, Texas.
About Chef Chamberlain
Chef Richard Chamberlain began his career at some of the best restaurants in the country. Prior to opening Chamberlain’s Steak & Fish, he served as sous chef under Dean Fearing at the Mansion at Turtle Creek and executive chef at San Simeon Restaurant and Ratcliff’s restaurant, all of those in Dallas. He also spent time in Los Angeles and Aspen, serving as the executive chef at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles and the Little Nell Hotel in Aspen. It was these experiences that helped influence his cooking style and earned him the title of one of the best chefs in the country from the James Beard Foundation.
Chamberlain’s: Built on Excellence
When Chamberlain’s Steak & Fish opened in 1993, it was met with kudos and the title of one of the best new restaurants in the country by Bon Appétit. Since then, publications like Zagat, Gourmet, and Wine Spectator have chimed in with their praise and accolades, such as:
“One of America’s Top Restaurants” – Zagat
“One of America’s Top Tables” – Gourmet
“Award of Excellence” – Wine Spectator
We were also recently named an OpenTable Diners’ Choice Award Winner for 2019, a title given by guests at our restaurant.
It’s the attention to detail, highest standards in quality, and innovative cooking preparations that keep our guests coming back time and time again.
